Description
This abstract composition plays on a dialogue between geometric rigor and chromatic fluidity.
The eye is immediately captured by a series of vertical white lines.
These straight bands are organized into three distinct registers.
They evoke an urban, almost architectural rhythm, which segments the space.
In the background, the acrylic unfolds in subtle shades.
The olive green blends into ochre tones and touches of deep blue.
This gradient creates a sense of atmospheric depth.
The artist opposes here the precision of the line to the suppleness of the blends.
The visual balance arises from this contrast between the order of the lines and the blur of the colors.
The rendering suggests a diffuse light, like a reflection on a wet surface.
The whole exudes a contemplative serenity and great structural clarity.
